Calm Tag Extras
Digital Art Heaven,  Tag Extras,  Tutorial Result

Calm Tag Extras

These Calm Tag Extras feature the work of Sue Miller. I also used a scrap kit from Kolor’Scapez! (InkkFreakk). The tutorial was called Serenity from Simple Expressions. It was part of a challenge from Digital Art Heaven email group. The hard part of doing tag extras from a tutorial is that it is always going to look familiar since so many will be doing the same thing. Hopefully I have been creative enough to make them unique.

Green and purple are my favorite colors. I think they make for a great combination in these Calm Tag Extras. I thought about leaving out the black film frame, but it does give it such a nice depth. How do you go about making tutorial results unique enough?

These tutorials take me a long time to do still. I wish I could fly through them like I used to. I am taking some basic Paint Shop Pro lessons. It is done through the Winni Group and it is wonderful. Not only is it free, but they assign you a teacher/mentor to check your work and be there for you if you have questions. Mine is Laurie and she is fantastic.
